Crain's Cleveland Names Farmers to 'Fast 50' List
CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Crain’s Cleveland Business has named Farmers National Bank to its “Fast 50” list of successful companies, the bank announced this morning.
To develop the list, Crain’s partnered with independent accounting and business advisory firm Apple Growth Partners to review financial records for companies headquartered in northeastern Ohio. Crain’s then ranked the 50 fastest-growing companies by revenue between 2009 and 2013. The publication stated it was looking for an established record of continuous growth.
“Our company’s tremendous growth since 2009 is fairly well known locally in the Mahoning Valley, but it is gratifying to have Cleveland’s top business publication take notice,” said Kevin Helmick, Farmers president and CEO. “This recognition validates the hard work and customer-first mentality of every Farmers associate.”
The ranking puts Farmers in the running to be named a Top 10 company. This announcement will be made at an awards ceremony, hosted by Crain’s, tomorrow at the Western Reserve Historical Society in Cleveland. Full coverage of this event will appear online and in the Nov. 10 print edition of Crain’s Cleveland Business.
