Covelli Restaurants to Again Offer Free Meals to Veterans
WARREN, Ohio -- Covelli Enterprises will offer service members on active duty and military veterans free meals at its Panera Bread and O’Charley’s restaurants in the Mahoning Valley on Nov. 11, Veterans Day.
At Panera Bread, any veteran or service member will receive a free You-Pick-Two meal. A free $9.99 entrée is offered to veterans and military personnel at Covelli’s O’Charley’s restaurants in Boardman and Niles. All they need is to wear their uniforms or show their military I.D.
“We continually work to show our customers and our community members that we appreciate them -- especially to those who have made sacrifices for our country,” said Sam Covelli, owner and operator of Covelli Enterprises. “We hope this token of generosity will let these men and women know how thankful we are for their service.”
Free meals for veterans and service members has been an annual tradition at the Covelli-owned Panera Bread cafes since 2011. Since then, the company has given away more than 30,000 You-Pick-Twos to those in the armed forces and veterans.
