Consol Energy Steps on the Gas in Southern Utica
Tuesday, July 15, 2014PITTSBURGH -- Consol Energy Inc.'s oil and gas division produced 51.9 billion cubic feet equivalent of natural gas during the second quarter of 2014, a 34% increase from the same period a year ago, the company reported today.
The company also announced that it placed into production last week three new Utica shale wells at its NBL19 pad in northern Noble County, Ohio. The pad saw initial production rates of 23 million cubic feet equivalent per day, per lateral.

Tuesday, July 15, 2014NILES, Ohio -- Flynn’s Tire & Auto Service opened its 19th store, a “Mini-Flynn’s,” at 5828B Youngstown-Warren Road Monday. The site lies within the Eastwood Mall complex.
The outlet, next door to an Advanced Auto Parts store, houses five service bays and a customer waiting area and was designed “for convenient tire service as well as auto repair and maintenance services,” said store manager Ian Snyder.
“This is a new concept for Flynn’s,” he noted. “Speed and efficiency within a reduced footprint are our goal.”

Ready to Quit Except for Health Insurance
Tuesday, July 15, 2014ST. PAUL, Minn. -- If you could buy health insurance coverage comparable to what comes with your job, would you quit? About 40% of Americans who have health insurance as an employee benefit would do just that, a new survey has found.
The Congressional Budget Office estimates that, because of the Affordable Care Act, workers may “choose to supply less labor” equivalent to two million full-time jobs between 2017 and 2024. This prompts the question: How many workers see themselves as “job-locked” – that is, reluctant to change jobs for fear of losing health insurance?
App Upgrade Informs Ohio Veterans about Jobs
