Monday, August 04, 2014YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- An open house hosted by America Makes drew hundreds of people downtown Sunday afternoon, many of whom braved inclement weather and lined up early to get their first glimpse into what officials herald as the future of manufacturing.
The event, held at America Makes' offices on West Boardman Street, attracted more than 400 Mahoning Valley residents, business owners, and area "makers" who use additive manufacturing in their work or as their hobby.

GM's July Sales Up 9%, Cruze Sales Down 17.8%
Friday, August 01, 2014DETROIT -- General Motors says its dealers delivered 256,160 vehicles in the United States in July, genernating the company’s highest July sales since 2007.
Total sales were up 9% compared with a year ago. Retail sales -- those to individual customers -- were up 4%. Commercial deliveries were up 69% and all other fleet deliveries were up 21%.
Mancuso Next Executive Director for SOD Center

Kosiba, executive director since the organization was founded four years ago, and Mancuso will share duties through the end of the year, with Kosiba working as three days a week and Mancuso the other two days.
