Quaker Steak to Build Restaurant in Warren
SHARON, Pa. -- Quaker Steak & Lube will break ground for its newest restaurant, to be built at 2191 Millennium Blvd., Warren, at 2 p.m. Oct. 4 with a “Hard Hat Party,” John Longstreet, president and CEO, announced Tuesday.
The site in between northern Warren and Cortland.
Longstreet said he has signed an agreement with Thomas Terleski/Elmhurst Properties to build the casual dining restaurant scheduled to open in early 2014.
The structure will closely resemble the “newest prototype model, a design that made its debut in Medina earlier this year,” Longstreet said. “It will encompass 5,250 square feet with seating for 150 inside with an additional patio area for 90 guests outside. The new Lube expects to hire between 130 and 150 employees.”
Quaker Steak has 17 restaurants in Ohio in a chain of nearly 60 outlets in 18 states and Canada. Longstreet said Quaker Steak has plans to build another restaurant in Toledo that will open next year.
