GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Twenty-seven Grove City College students will participate in the 2014-15 VentureLab, an early-stage business and social enterprise idea effort in its third year.
VentureLab, sponsored by The Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Grove City College, provides seed grants for workspace and guidance to student-entrepreneurs.
Of the 15 teams who applied, eight were chosen. All made their cases for funding to buy supplies or professional services that would test the viability of their ideas.
VentureLab teams work in The Highmark Business Innovation Center suite at the eCenter@LindenPointe, the first science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) startup business incubator in the region.
