Neil Kennedy Parent Names New President/CEO
PITTSBURGH -- Gateway Rehabilitation Center, which operates the Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic in Youngstown, has named Paul Bacharach its president and CEO.
“I am looking forward to leading a dedicated staff whose single focus is on helping patients suffering from substance abuse to find lasting recovery,” Bacharach said. “Gateway Rehab has long been known for its excellence in the treatment of this chronic disease and we will continue in that tradition.”
Bacharach will oversee all facets of the Gateway Rehab system, which treats adults and teens for addiction to alcohol and other drugs at more than 20 locations throughout western Pennsylvania and Ohio. He succeeds Kenneth S. Ramsey, Ph.D., Gateway Rehab’s longtime president and CEO, who announced plans to retire more than a year ago. Bacharach previously served as president and CEO of Fayette Regional Health System/Uniontown Hospital.
“Paul brings the leadership, experience and vision Gateway Rehab now needs in order to thrive in the future. Health care is in an ambiguous era and we are confident Paul has the experience and skills to keep Gateway Rehab in the forefront of quality substance-abuse treatment,” said Paul Sweeney, chairman of Gateway Rehab’s board.
