Centers for Hearing Care Offer iPhone Aid
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- The Centers for Hearing Care is among the first to offer Halo, a made-for-iPhone hearing aid. The Halo also is compatible with the iPad and iPod Touch.
The Halo hearing aid gives Americans with untreated hearing loss a discreet option that seamlessly connects with some of the most popular electronic devices available, according to Dr. Sheryl Figliano, audiologist and owner of Centers for Hearing Care. “Being able to offer the world's most advanced made for iPhone hearing aids is an exciting unique opportunity for our patients," she said.
With seven locations in northeastern Ohio, Centers for Hearing Care provides a variety of hearing care services including hearing evaluations, video ear inspections, hearing instrument fittings, aural rehabilitation.
Halo combines hearing aid technology with iOS and connects with the TruLink Hearing Control app, which is available as a free download in the App Store. Together, Halo and TruLink, when paired with an iOS device, deliver a personalized hearing experience. The combination allows streaming calls, FaceTime music and more from an iPhone directly to the hearing aids through a Bluetooth connection, control of the hearing aids' volume and setting with an iPhone and more.
In addition to seamless integration with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, Halo hearing aids also are stand-alone hearing aids packed with features such as feedback cancellation, adaptive noise management and directionality.
