Autism Society Resource Fair Seeks Participants
NILES, Ohio -- The Autism Society of Ohio is hosting its inaugural Community Autism & Disability Resource Fair March 22 in the main concourse of the Eastwood Mall.
Service-providers and other related organizations will have an opportunity to inform visitors with information about their products and/or services from individual booths.
Families affected by autism can meet with these service providers to learn more about autism, disability services and the organizations in the region that support them.
Educational workshops will be offered parents as well, including:
- 10 a.m.: Latest and Greatest Apps presented by Melissa Ustik, SLP Mahoning County Educational Service Center.
- 11 a.m.: Transition Planning presented by Denise Malkovitz, Educational Options, and Susan Gaetano Maruca, senior partner and chief operating officer, The Maruca Law Firm LLC.

The Autism Society of Ohio is dedicated to improving the lives of all affected by autism in the state through information and referral, family support, advocacy, professional development, raising awareness and resource development. Monies raised will stay local to serve Mahoning Valley families.
