Warren Schools Superintendent to Address Chamber
WARREN, Ohio -- Michael Notar, new superintendent of Warren City Schools, will speak at the fall Good Morning Warren breakfast of the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber Nov. 2 at The Raymond John Wean Foundation, Courthouse Square.
Notar will give an update on Warren schools and what the remainder of the year holds.
Notar was selected as superintendent in July after serving as business manager and principal at Harding High School the last two years. He also has taught and been a principal and superintendent more than 20 years in Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties.
Relative to the schools update, Patty Brozik, president of the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley, will discuss the impact and role of the foundation's Swanston Fund in supporting Campbell schools in Mahoning County. She also will talk about how the foundation’s work is starting to take hold in Trumbull County through innovative collaborations.
The foundation has been an active contributor to the nonprofit community in Trumbull County almost a decade.
As is the tradition at the fall Good Morning breakfast, the Pendleton Business Pride Award will be presented to a Warren business that exemplifies superior ethical, moral and professional standards as it supports the economic and community development of the city of Warren.
The breakfast, which begins at 7:30 a.m., is open to the public. The cost for the event, which is sponsored by Century Link, is $20 for chamber members and $30 for those who aren’t. Reservations are required by contacting Jennifer Mascardine at 330 744 2131 Ext. 12.
