Ohio Launches Energy Industry Jobs Website
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio Board of Regents has launched OhioEnergyPathways.org, a website designed to align education and training with the needs of the energy industry.
The website is intended to connect Ohioans seeking jobs in the energy industry with job training and employment opportunities specific to that industry.
OhioEnergyPathways.org offers information about each energy sector as well as energy efficiency to help those interested in energy careers learn about the occupations and training programs available throughout Ohio. Among the content areas are advanced energy, renewable energy, energy efficiency and oil and gas extraction.
On the website, each of the featured content areas identified includes a direct click-through to an OhioMeansJobs.com page with job openings in that sector. More than 4,000 jobs are posted along with areas of significant growth projected in the next five years.
The website is not all-inclusive. New non-credit and credit programs will be added.
