JA to Celebrate 60 Years in Valley Oct. 18
GIRARD, Ohio -- Junior Achievement of Mahoning Valley Inc. will celebrate its 60th anniversary Oct. 18 with a dinner at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek Park, Youngstown.
JA will honor individuals, businesses and community partners, volunteers, educators and schools for their contributions of time, money and service to the nonprofit enterprise devoted to teaching students about the U.S. free enterprise system. The event begins with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6 followed by the program. The cost is $60 per person and $480 for a table for eight.
