Table Games at Pa. Casinos Gross $66.4M in August
HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Gross revenues from table games at the 12 casinos in Pennsylvania were $66.4 million in August, the state Gaming Control Board reported Wednesday, a 4.6% increase over August 2013.
Net revenues that resulted -- taxes paid the state -- were $9.6 million, the board said.
Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, with 113 tables, reported revenues of $6,2241,370. The same number of tables in August 2013 produced $6,116,554.
Presque Isle Downs and Casino, Erie, reported $1,176,652 from 46 tables compared with $1,037,769 in August 2013, also 46 tables reporting.
Coupled with slot machine revenues reported earlier this month, overall gross revenue from both slots and tables was up 2.8% compared to August 2013. Revenues from all casino gaming were $276,446,817 compared to $268,905,470 August 2013.
