Ohio Joins US Chamber’s All*Vet States Website
CLEVELAND -- Ohio is the sixth state to join the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s All*Vet States Web initiative that focuses on employment, education and business startup information for participating states.
Goal of the site is to showcase states working to create economic opportunities for veterans and military spouses and to highlight the resources available to military families making the transition to civilian life.
“I’m very happy that Ohio has joined this effort,” said Tim Gorrell, director of the Ohio Department of Veteran Services. “Increasing the visibility of our state through the All*Vet States site is another way we’re elevating Ohio’s status as a veteran-friendly state.”
“Ohio has worked aggressively to be a top destination for our nation’s veterans and military spouses,” added Eric Eversole, executive director of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Hiring Our Heroes program..
