Gulfport Energy Reports New Utica Results
OKLAHOMA CITY – Gulfport Energy Corp. announced Tuesday the results from two horizontal wells recently drilled in Ohio's Belmont and Harrison counties.
Gulfport's Stutzman 1-14H well in Belmont County tested at a sustained four-hour peak rate of 21 million cubic feet per day of natural gas and 945 barrels a day of natural-gas liquids, or 4,060 barrels of oil equivalent per day, the company said.
The Stutzman well was drilled at a vertical depth of 9,020 feet and an 8,634-foot horizontal lateral, one of the longest drilled to date in the Utica.
Gulfport expects to flow the Stutzman well into pipeline sales in the beginning of June, the company said.
