HUBBARD, Ohio -- Mark J. Dodd has been named vice president/senior project manager at DeSalvo Construction Co. Starting as a union carpenter, he has more than 20 years of construction industry experience.
After working his way through the apprentice program to become a journeyman, he went on to become project foreman and project manager at Hammond Construction. Among the projects he’s managed are work for the University of Akron, the Akron Zoo and several school buildings, either their construction or renovation. He is listed by the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED accredited professional.
DeSalvo Construction, established in December 1984, does work in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia and works closely with many local design, architecture and engineering firms as preconstruction consultants, says Joe DeSalvo, executive vice president.
