Vistage Expands into Youngstown Market
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Vistage International, a peer advisory membership organization, has identified Youngstown as a high-growth market and so is inviting CEOs, company presidents and business owners here to a free presentation by Edgar Papke, “The Biggest Elephant: Conflict as a Catalyst for Innovation and Creation.”
The presentation will be held from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Dec. 4 at Squaw Creek Country Club in Vienna Township.
Papke will challenge and expand views of conflict and teach strategies for optimizing performance, Vistage said. Those who attend will be asked to explore the origins and dynamics of conflict, how a company’s culture influences how teams and organizations disagree and last, how to take constructive approaches to create lasting accord.
Those attending also will have the opportunity to experience an issues-processing session led by Vistage business coach Dennis Sabol and discover how a C-level peer advisory group can help improve business.
Sabol, who has nearly 35 years in strategic roles in the human resources departments at ITT, Kennametal and Harris Wholesale, has spent the last 20 years as a consultant.
Seating is extremely limited, Vistage says. Those interested in the session must register by calling 216 407 7208 or visit http://www.vistage.com/ValleyCEO.
Vistage International, founded in 1957, headquartered in San Diego, Calif. It has served more than 16,000 CEOs and senior executives in 15 countries.
