Trumbull United Way Names Pasha New CEO
WARREN, Ohio -- Ginny Pasha will succeed Tom Krysiek as chief executive officer of the United Way of Trumbull County, the agency’s board of director announced Tuesday. Pasha will be introduced at the United Way of Trumbull County’s annual meeting Thursday at Leo’s Ristorante, when Krysiek will retire after 30 years of service.
Pasha, a lifelong Trumbull County resident, will be the first female CEO in the organization’s 90-year history. She currently serves as director of community impact for United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley, a position she has held for eight years. She also has served as president of Junior Achievement and Youth Employability Solutions, and was the state development coordinator for Buckeye Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates. She has received numerous awards and recognition for her work including being twice recognized by the Junior Achievement national organization for program growth, fiscal responsibility and overall management effectiveness.
“The board is very excited to have Ginny leading the organization in our efforts to address the health and human service needs in our county,” said John Guarnieri, chairman of the board of the United Way of Trumbull County. “She is well-respected and knowledgeable of both the United Way organization and the Trumbull County community.”
Pasha’s selection followed a nationwide search.
“The search committee is pleased to have a candidate with Ginny’s experience and skills,” said Don Emerson, search committee chairman. “We are confident that her familiarity with local issues and the community will be an asset to our organization.”
