Things Remembered to Host Job Fair Thursday
NORTH JACKSON, Ohio -- The Things Remembered Fulfillment and Distribution Center here will host a job fair 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 19 to kick off seasonal hiring in advance of the holiday shopping season.
The distribution center is seeking to fill more than 300 seasonal openings on a variety of shifts. Engraving, embroidery machine operators, warehouse/shipping and receiving and inbound call center positions are available. The full-time positions pay $8 per hour, and employees are paid weekly. Employees also receive 40% off all purchases and are eligible to participate in incentives including drawings and employee-only sales.
“Working as a seasonal teammate at Things Remembered is not just a job, it’s an opportunity to earn extra money for Christmas, receive discounts toward one-of-a-kind gifts for the holidays, create long-lasting friendships, and to become a part of an international company in a small town, team-centered environment,” said Joe Whittaker, production manager.
“The start of seasonal hiring is like a family reunion,” said Tracie Balentine, human resource manager. “Many teammates come back and work with us again season after season. Seasonal work is a great way to keep busy in the off-season for those with summertime jobs, and to earn extra money.”
