Things Remembered to Hire 600 Seasonal Workers
NORTH JACKSON, Ohio -- Recruitments for 600 seasonal workers at the Things Remembered Fulfillment Center here will be held at OhioMeansJobs Centers in Mahoning and Trumbull Counties over the next five weeks.
The personalized gift retailer plans to hire 400 workers in a variety of production positions such as engravers, embroidery machine operators and quality control and packing, and fill 200 another customer service positions at its distribution center center.
The company says its employees "enjoy steady hours, quality training, weekly pay, 40% discounts on purchases and more. "
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be 18 years of age and able to work weekends and overtime. Positions are available on first, second and third shifts and pay $8 an hour.
Recruiting events will be held Oct. 27 from 9:30 a.m. until noon; Nov. 3 from 9:30 a.m. until noon, and Nov. 19 from 9:30 a.m. until noon at OhioMeansJobs Mahoning County, 141 Boardman-Canfield Rd., Boardman.
At OhioMeanJobs Trumbull County, 280 N. Park Ave., Warren, recruiting events will be held Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and on Nov. 17 from noon until 3 p.m.
A recruiting event is also scheduled Oct. 20 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Things Remembered Fulfillment Center, 500 S. Bailey Road.
