Quaker Steak to Open in Cortland Feb. 26
SHARON, Pa. – Quaker Steak & Lube will open its 17th Ohio restaurant Feb. 26 in Cortland at 3 p.m., the casual dining chain announced. The new Lube, which will create nearly 100 jobs, will be located at 2191 Millennium Blvd.
The 5,000-square-foot restaurant will accommodate seating for more than 230 patrons including a brickyard patio and two bars, and will feature flatscreen high-definition television sets throughout the restaurant. It will also have a Pickup Wingo Window and the restaurant will have online ordering.
“We are very excited to be opening our next location in Warren/Cortland so new guests can enjoy our award-winning food, real motorcycles, authentic cars and tons of family fun," said Fred Dreibholz, who last month was named interim CEO of Quaker Steak & Lube.
Sports and automotive memorabilia hung from the ceilings and the walls of the restaurant will include include a 1956 Packard Caribbean courtesy of the National Packard Museum, a 2003 Heritage Springer 100th Anniversary Edition courtesy of Warren Harley Davidson and pieces from local high school teams including Lakeview, Warren G. Harding, Howland, Warren JFK and Champion. Regular events will include All-You-Can-Eat-Wings on Tuesday, Breaded Boneless Thursdays, Friday Bike Nites, Happy Hour and Saturday Car Cruise-ins.
As part of the opening week festivities restaurant will make a donation to Inspiring Minds, a local charity created by Warren native Deryck Toles that offers a number of after-school educational programs to help students prepare for their future.
