Poland Alumna Opens New Boutique in Boardman
BOARDMAN, Ohio -- Ivory & Birch, a new boutique featuring a wide array of merchandise from home goods to clothing and accessories, held its grand opening Wednesday.
Located at 7631 Market St., the store features more than 100 brands and items including furnishings, clothes, jewelry and greeting cards.
“I’ve been dreaming of opening a store since I was a little girl. My all-time favorite toy was a cash register and I changed my outfits six, seven times a day when I was 4,” recalled Deloran Muransky, the store’s owner.
Muransky, an alumna of Poland Seminary High School and Washington University in St. Louis, returned to the Mahoning Valley in May. She spent nearly five years working for the Kohl’s department store chain where she took on roles in buying, planning, merchandising and product development before she decided to go out on her own.
“I want our customers to be able to buy gifts for just about everyone in their lives. From in-laws to teachers to moms and dads we have something for everyone,” she said.
Additionally, she described the exceptional customer service she hopes Ivory & Birch will be known for. “No matter how prevalent online shopping becomes in our lives, there is still something to be said for the in-store experience,” she remarked. “My staff and I want to be known for personal, genuine and meaningful customer relationships.”
Additional information about the store, including hours and days of operation, is available on its website, or by calling 330 965 4772.
