Panera Bread to Open 2nd Boardman Cafe
BOARDMAN, Ohio – Covelli Enterprises will mark the opening of its second Panera Bread Bakery-Café in the township next week, with one promotion benefitting the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley.
Covelli Enterprises, headquartered in Warren, is Panera's largest franchisee, with more than 250 cafes in the United States and Canada. Covelli opened its first Panera in Boardman in 1997.
Like the Panera café in Niles, the new café, 7685 Market St. in the Southwoods Commons development, will feature a drive-thru window.
On Aug. 26, beginning at 5:30 a.m., the first 1,000 dine-in guests to make a purchase will receive a free travel mug with free coffee refills for two weeks, and the first 500 customers through the drive-thru will receive a free ceramic car coaster.
On Aug. 26 and 27, customers who purchase a You-Pick-Two will receive a $5 gift card good for a subsequent visit. For each card used between Aug. 26 and Sept. 9, $1 will be donated to the United Way.
Additionally, on Aug. 28, the café will offer breakfast sandwiches and egg souffles at half price through 11 a.m., with a maximum of three per customer.
