Packard Foundation Joins Trumbull Community Foundation
WARREN, Ohio -- The privately run Packard Music Hall Foundation is joining the Trumbull County Community Foundation.
The Trumbull foundation is a component fund of the Community Foundation of Western PA and Eastern Ohio, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that specializes in philanthropic leadership for local institutions. The Packard Music Hall Foundation is separate from the Packard Music Hall & Park board of trustees; its board voted unanimously to join the Communtiy Foundation Community Foundation of Western PA and Eastern Ohio.
“This will enable the Packard Music Hall Foundation to continue to meet all of our donors’ intent, and fulfill the mission of our foundation, which is to support the Packard Music Hall through fundraising, development, programming, community awareness and educational outreach,” said Jim Fogarty, PMH Foundation vice president.
Along with providing matching funds on certain capital improvement projects to the music hall including most recently the conclusion of an interior painting project, the Packard Foundation has also brought events to the hall which have included the annual Ghost Walk, various children’s holiday concerts and theater training, the Chelsea Handler Comedy Tour among others, and independent music acts.
With the support of the Trumbull County Community Foundation, donors will still be able to make tax-deductible contributions to the Packard Music Hall Foundation. Donations to the foundation can be made by check, payable either to the PMHF itself, or to the Trumbull County Community Foundation with a memo for the Packard Music Hall Foundation.
