Ohio Casinos Report November Revenue of $54M
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The three gambling casinos in Ohio reported adjusted gross revenues of more than $54 million in November. The casinos, two of them relatively new, are in Cleveland, Toledo and Columbus.
Adjusted gross revenue is defined as money the casino operator receives less the winnings paid to patrons, according to the Ohio Casino Control Commission.
At the newest casino, the Horseshoe Casino in Cleveland, the adjusted gross revenue was $20,484,318. The 117 table games accounted for adjusted gross revenues of $7,330,701, while the slot machines posted $13,153,617. In the slot machines alone, patrons dropped $133,615,908.
The second newest, the Hollywood Casino in Columbus, reported a adjusted gross revenue of $20,016,552. The 108 table games realized $13,107, while slots accounted for $25,197,145. Patrons bet $269,652,949 in the slot machines.
At the Hollywood Casino in Toledo, the adjusted gross revenue was $13,598,087, of which the 80 table games accounted for $2,871,768. Patrons put $113,234,936 into the slot machines, resulting in adjusted gross revenue $10,726,202 for the casino.
