Ohio Casinos End Year with Gross Income of $350.55M
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The three operating casinos in Ohio reported total adjusted gross revenue of $350.55 million last year, according to the Ohio Casino Control Commission. Adjusted gross revenues are moneys received by the casinos less the payouts to patrons.
Adjusted gross for slot machines was $37.03 million while the total amount of coins paid in was $2.553 billion The table game adjusted gross was $538.51 million.
For December, the adjusted gross for the four casinos was $56.65 million. Of this, the new Horseshoe Casino in Cleveland brought in $24.53 million compared with Hollywood Columbus, $17.94 million, and Hollywood Toledo, $552,159. The casinos in Cleveland and Toledo have been open since May, Hollywood Columbus since October.
