Manufacturing, TechBelt Videos on Home Page
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – BusinessJournalDaily.com, the online news platform of The Business Journal, today expands its editorial focus on Trending: Manufacturing and Trending: TechBelt with the addition of special video screens beneath the DailyBUZZ webcast.
“Look on our home page and you’ll see the topic-focused screens, along with opportunities to view our weekly Drilling Down video report as well as the Daily Buzz,” says Andrea Wood, publisher of The Business Journal.
Trending: Manufacturing and Trending: TechBelt are the titles of a series of comprehensive reports appearing throughout 2014 in The Business Journal’s print, online and video news platforms. Since their launch in February, “Readers and viewers tell us these reports are high-interest, which is reflected in Google analytics that track page views,” says Ms. Wood.
Managing Editor Stacia Erdos, also the anchor and producer of the DailyBUZZ, and Michael Moliterno, Buzz co-anchor and videographer, are traveling across the TechBelt to report on companies that are innovating high-tech products and services. The home-page TechBelt screen features one of these stories and the opportunity to click to a “perma link,” where more videos are posted.
The Business Journal’s Trending: TechBelt series is sponsored by the Youngstown Business Incubator.
Senior reporter Dan O’Brien and Moliterno are also taking to the road to report on what’s trending in manufacturing. The Trending: Manufacturing video screen enables viewers to see a featured video on the home page and also includes a “perma link” where more videos are posted.
Trending: Manufacturing is co-sponsored by Youngstown State University’s STEM College and the Oh-Penn Manufacturing Collaborative.
Each edition of The Business Journal includes more targeted coverage available to print subscribers only, and monthly email reports will also roll out in the weeks to come, Ms. Wood reports.
“Since the first edition of The Business Journal was published in August 1984, our mission has been to boost business and industry in the five-county region,” she says. “We invite manufacturing and TechBelt companies to contact us so we can tell our readers and viewers how they’re innovating, creating jobs and transforming our region’s economic base.”
