Flynn's Tire Group Enlists in Army PaYS Program
WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. --– Flynn’s Tire Group officially enlisted Tuesday in the U.S. Army’s Partnership for Youth Success (PaYS) program, thereby guaranteeing job interviews and potential employment to soldiers ending their tour of duty and ROTC cadets.
The formal signing of the partnership followed a patriotic recognition ceremony staged by members of the Cleveland Recruiting Battalion & New Castle Recruiting Co.
“It’s our launch of working with the U.S. Army for the PaYS program, which is basically helping veterans when they’re coming out of the military to find a career,” said Joe Flynn III, president of Flynn’s Tire Group. “We’re always looking for good, honest, hard-working people. As men and women are getting out of the army, they will be given Flynn’s Tires as a contact for a job interview to see if they have the skills we’re looking for.”
Flynn’s Tire joins a long list of companies that participate in the PaYS program (CLICK HERE). The company is the first in Mercer County, Pa., to enlist, according to Lt. Col. Scott Bartley, who spoke at the event.
The company lists 10 current job openings at its website, including auto and tire technicians, call center operator, and wholesale driver.
