Evets Plans Grand Opening of New Fab Plant
HUBBARD, Ohio -- Evets Fabrication Services, a VEC Inc. company, will host a grand opening April 11 for its new 22,000-square-foot facility at 500 Erie St.
Evets invested $3.2 million in the plant and plans to create 30 jobs fabricating equipment for oil and gas and other industries, according to an announcement of the event distributed by the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber.
Speaking at the grand opening on behalf of VEC/Evets will be Rex Ferry, CEO, and Chris Jaskiewicz, president and COO.
The new building will have state-of-the-art welding equipment and four eight-ton cranes. Capabilities include skid design and fabrication, pipe fabrication, ASME-coded pressure vessels, launchers and receivers, separators, hydrotesting, sandblasting, coating and painting and walkways.
The building also will house VEC’s building information modeling and design-assist teams so they can work directly with fabricators on projects.
The facility will hame LED lighting throughout, dimmers for all offices, motion sensors in bathrooms and high-efficiency heating and cooling systems.
In addition to Evets, VEC’s companies include Valley Electrical Consolidated, VEC Systems Integrator and JL Allen Co. LLC.
VEC Inc. is headquartered in Girard.
