D'Vino Ristorante Opens, 7-Course Meals Next Week
NILES, Ohio -- D’Vino Ristorante opened yesterday in the lower level of Alberini's restaurant on Youngstown-Warren Road. The ristorante is run by chef Daimer Cescon, a native of Italy who has been a chef at deluxe restaurants in Europe and Japan including the three-star Michelin restaurant Le Calandre just outside of Venice.
Beginning next week, D'Vino is hosting a five-night "Reign of Stars" with each evening featuring a seven-course meal. Cescon and four world-class master chefs from around the world, with each featuring his own creation from their regions, will prepare the meals.
The schedule is as follows:
- Jan. 9: Master chef Augusto Bottura (2 stars, Michelin) from Ancona, Italy. This will feature seafood dishes from the region of March.
- Jan. 10: Master chef Enrico Orlandi (1 star, Michelin) from Milan, Italy. This features wild meat from Lombardy.
- Jan. 11: Master chef Marcello Bortolutti (1 star, Michelin) from Riminiu, Italy. This features fusion new style food from Emilia Romagna.
- Jan. 12: Master chef Elvis Campigli (2 stars, Michelin) from Fucecchio, Italy. This features Tuscany Dimension food from Tuscany.
- Jan. 13: Master chef Cescon (3 stars, Michelin) from Venice. Features a white truffle dinner from Venice.
Dinner is served from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Seating is limited to 70 each night.
