DRS Network Operations Center Unifies Services
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Data Recovery Services has opened its new network operations center here, Carl Gordulic, president and chief operating officer, announces. The center gives DRS a focused environment for its support operations at its headquarters and is staffed 24 hours daily by trained technical engineers, he says.
Engineers manage the more than 33,000 square feet of data center space that the company owns or manages at its data centers here, in Westerville, Ohio, and in Pittsburgh. Engineers also monitor and support more than 5,500 miles of fiber-optic cable and 4,000 devices and provide support desk services to more than 2,500 end users throughout the United States.
“As cloud offerings become more accepted throughout the business communities and companies look for partnerships for cloud-based solutions, one way we attempt to differentiate ourselves at DRS is through our customer service,” Gordulic said.
Since DRS moved into its headquarters, it has more than doubled its workforce, added a second office in Youngstown, and opened offices in Akron, Columbus and Pittsburgh. As DRS expanded, its support staff became scattered, and Gordulic said the new center brings all support services together in one centralized area that allows the company to support its customers seamlessly.
DRS LLC is an information technology consulting firm and service provider that specializes in cloud services, managed services, data center operations, and network infrastructure deployment including local area networks, wide area networks, VoIP and connectivity.
