Covelli Offers Free Meals to Vets, Military
WARREN, Ohio – Covelli Enterprises, which operates Panera Bread bakery-cafes and O’Charley’s restaurants, will give free meals to veterans and military service members at its restaurants Monday.
Military personnel and veterans can receive a free You-Pick-Two meal at Panera or a free $9.99 entrée from O’Charley’s by wearing their uniform or showing their military ID or discharge papers.
“We continually work to show our customers and our community members that we appreciate them, especially to those who have made sacrifices for our country,” said Sam Covelli, owner and operator of Covelli Enterprises. “We hope this token of generosity will let these men and women know how thankful we are for their service.”
Panera Bread/Covelli Enterprises gave away more than 11,400 You-Pick-Two’s to military personnel and veterans through the same promotion during the 2011 holiday season. O’Charley’s offers a year-round 10% discount for veterans and military service members.
