Autosoft Renovates Tech Center, Sets Event Dec. 17
WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. -- Autosoft Inc., a software and services company that serves automotive dealers, has opened a newly renovated technology center to accommodate its growing operations and an expanding staff of software developers at its campus here, the company announced today.
“We are very energized by our company’s recent growth and that it enables us to positively impact the economy in Mercer County where we are proudly based,” said Bryce Veon, president and CEO, in a prepared statement.
Last month, 26 employees moved into the new space, which has capacity to house an additional 30 to 40 software professionals, he noted.
“We created more than 60 jobs over the past 18 months and continue to grow. Autosoft is being recognized as a cool, creative, collaborative company, with the feel of a Silicon Valley workplace nestled in the corridor between Pittsburgh and Cleveland,” Veon said.
Autosoft will hold a press event Dec. 17 to publicly present the new technology center. On hand will be representatives of the Penn-Northwest Development Corp. and the Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce. Area business and education leaders are invited to attend.
The open floor plan of the technology center is organized into themed spaces where teams can easily cooperate on projects, according to Veon. Graffiti and art cover the walls, and a sports room provides break time activities, including foosball and basketball. The new kitchen features freshly brewed coffee, energy drinks, beer for later in the day, fresh fruit and plenty of snacks. The beans in the coffee served are roasted nearby.
"Add to that the year-round activities like cornhole leagues and office challenges for sports and culinary enthusiasts, and it’s clear that Autosoft is a fun, comfortable and rewarding place to work," Veon said. “We’re proud to be a company that offers a great environment and the opportunity to do amazing things."
Earlier this year, Autosoft was recognized as one of the best places to work in Western Pennsylvania and one of the best places to work in Pennsylvania.
