Asimakopoulos Elected Chairman of Regional Chamber Board
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Peter Asimakopoulos, Youngstown market president for First National Bank, has been elected chairman of the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber Board of Directors.
He will serve as in 2013 and 2014.
Asimakopoulos succeeds Bonnie Deutsch Burdman, who remains on the executive committee. She is director of community relations for the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation.
Also named to the executive committee are Anthony Cafaro Jr., co-president, The Cafaro Co., vice chairman; Steve Kristan, director of External Affairs, AT&T, vice chairman; David Paull, vice president for human resources at RTI, vice chairman; attorney Martha Bushey, shareholder, Manchester, Bennett, Powers & Ullman LPA, vice chairwoman; John Gulas, president & CEO, Farmers National Bank, treasurer; and Tom Humphries, Regional Chamber president & CEO, secretary.
New appointments to three-year terms on the board are Joel Mastervich, president, V&M Star; Roland “Butch” Taylor Jr., business manager, Local 396 of the Plumbers & Pipefitters union; Matthew Love, chief financial officer/senior vice president of finance and strategy, Humility of Mary Health Partners; Tammy Jorgensen, senior vice president, Huntington Bank.
Re-appointed to three-year terms on the board are Gulas and Kristan; Cynthia Anderson, president of Youngstown State University; Patrick Bevack, president & CEO, Home Savings and Loan Co.; Al Blank, president & chief operating officer, First Place Bank; James Pitzer, senior vice president, JP Morgan Chase Bank; and Robert Wolleben, executive vice president and COO, Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
