Aim Technicians Take Top Honors in Tech Challenge
GIRARD, Ohio -- Two technicians at Aim NationaLease took the first and third places during NationaLease's 3rd Annual Tech Challenge May 14. Bob Mryzglod of Buffalo, N.Y., came in first place, and Rich Ramsey from Cleveland took third-place honors.
This is the second year in a row that Mryzglod won first place.
The Tech Challenge, conducted by NationaLease, is a national competition for technicians within its network of 165 independent full-service truck leasing companies throughout North America, of which Aim is a member. They compete in stations that include starting and charging, electrical, brakes, wheel ends, HVAC, engine diagnostics, electronic information and PMI.
“This is a top honor," said Mark Roache, company director of maintenance. "I can speak on behalf of Aim’s maintenance department when I say that we are proud and honored to have them on our team."
Both technicians, along with the second-place winner, will represent NationaLease at the September TMC SuperTech Competition in Pittsburgh.
In addition to placing in this event, Aim also played host at the company's site in Elmhurst, Ill., according to Chris Disantis, Aim’s director of training and technical field support.
