Aim NationaLease Targets Oil, Gas With New Unit
GIRARD, Ohio -- Aim NationaLease, a national provider of commercial truck leasing and contract maintenance services, has established an affiliate, Aim Services Co., for its expansion into the oil and gas industry. Aim Services will specialize in oil and gas services for the Utica and Marcellus shale plays in Ohio and Pennsylvania, with an initial focus on transportation of water to and from well shale pads.
Water delivery service will start this month after Aim takes delivery of its new water-hauling trucks. The company will launch the venture with four vehicles, with plans to up-fleet quickly as demand increases.
Scott W. Fleming, formerly regional director for Aim Integrated Logistics, has been promoted to president of Aim Services. Jason R. Olesh, previously director of business development for Aim Integrated Logistics, has been named director of business development for the new company.
“Our location and transportation experience position us very well to serve the oil and gas industry,” Fleming said. “Our focus will be on quality, safe and timely deliveries to customers’ well sites.”
Aim Services also has added eight drivers to the fleet. The company will initially target customers within 100 miles of its headquarters in Girard. With additional locations in Ohio and western Pennsylvania, opportunities exist for further expansion.
“With multiple locations, we can add services as we go,” Fleming said. “We want to build our fleet and customer base and look to expand into wherever our customers need us. We want to be a one-stop shop for the oil and gas industry.”
