Northwood's Williams Is 2013 Ohio Association President
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Thomas J. Williams of Austintown has been installed as the 2013 president of the 26,000-member Ohio Association of Realtors. Williams is the corporate trainer/masters education instructor for Northwood Realty Services in Youngstown and coordinates mergers and acquisitions for Northwood.
Williams served as president of the Youngstown Columbiana Association of Realtors in 1999 and was honored as its “Realtor of the Year” in 1996 and again in 2003. At the state level, he has served in several leadership positions within the organization, highlighted by his term as president-elect (2012) and treasurer (2011). Previously, he was state District 1 vice president (2008-09) and chaired several association committees and forums, including the appraisal committee.
Nationally, he serves as a director for the National Association of Realtors and as a member of the state and local issues policy committee. He holds the national association’s Graduate Senior Appraiser designation.
Other 2013 officers are Chris Hall of Oregon, president-elect, and Greg Hrabcak of Westerville, treasurer.
The Ohio Association of Realtors is the largest professional trade association in the Buckeye State.
