Foreclosure Rates, Mortgage Delinquencies Down in April
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- Foreclosure rates in Youngstown-Warren-Boardman decreased for the month of April over the same period last year, according to newly released data from CoreLogic.
The CoreLogic data reveals that the rate of Youngstown-Warren-Boardman area foreclosures among outstanding mortgage loans was 2.60% for the month of April, a decrease of 1.33 percentage points compared to April 2013 when the rate was 3.93%.
Still, Foreclosure activity in Youngstown-Warren-Boardman was higher than the national foreclosure rate, which was 1.77% for April 2014.
Also in Youngstown-Warren-Boardman, the mortgage delinquency rate decreased, reports CoreLogic, a data provider based in Irvine, Calif.
According to CoreLogic data for April, 6.49% of mortgage loans were 90 days or more delinquent compared to 7.53% for the same period last year, representing a decrease of 1.04 percentage points.
