First National Bank to Open Branch in Canfield
HERMITAGE, Pa. – First National Bank of Pennsylvania will open a branch in Creekside Place, Canfield, Ohio, Monday, Dec. 3, CEO and President Vincent J. Delie Jr., announced Wednesday.
The office in Canfield will be the fifth in Mahoning County and 14th in northeastern Ohio for First National Bank. Lydia J. Taylor, who recently joined the bank as a vice president, will serve as manager.
Before joining First National Bank, Taylor was a vice president at First Place Bank and sales manager of its branch in Liberty Township, Ohio. She earned her baccalaureate in business management at Hiram College and is assistant treasurer of the Girard/Liberty Rotary.
“Canfield is a market of interest to First National Bank and a natural expansion of our presence in northeastern Ohio,” Delie said. “We have consistently invested our resources in the Mahoning Valley and we’re pleased to take one more step by joining the Canfield community as a neighbor and trusted financial adviser.”
In additional to offering the traditional retail and commercial products banks provide, the First National Bank office at 6515 Tippecanoe Road (just south of U.S. Route 224), will provide wealth-management services to its private banking customers.
The office will occupy 5,800 square feet. The lobby will be open from 9-4, Monday through Thursday, 9-6 on Friday and 9-Noon on Saturday. The drive thru will be open 9-6 Monday through Friday and 9-Noon on Saturday. The ATM will be available for use by Nov. 12, the bank says.
First National Bank is the largest subsidiary of F.N.B. Corp., which has $11.8 billion in assets and through its subsidiaries in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee and Florida engages in commercial, retail, mortgage and merchant banking and offers insurance, trust, investment, leasing and consumer finance services.
