Farmers National Bank Enhances Online, Mobile
CANFIELD, Ohio -- Farmers National Bank today announced it has updated and enhanced its suite of online and mobile banking services to include such options as sending or requesting money via text or email and remote deposit capture.
“We have made a large technology investment to provide our customers with the financial tools and services they desire through digital channels,” said Kevin Helmick, Farmers president and CEO. “We are focused on providing the most innovative solutions available on the market.”
The online banking features, including one that is coming soon, are easy to navigate, even for customers with no digital banking experience, bank officials say. They include:
- Popmoney, a service where customers can either send or request money to or from another person via text or email.
- Live Chat (coming soon), this feature will allow customers to communicate with a Farmers representative through online chat in real time.
- Finance Manager, a budgeting tool that categorizes expenses, sets savings goals and aggregates customer’s accounts from any financial institution.
The Farmers mobile app also has been revamped to provide the following new features:
- Remote Deposit Capture, allowing customers to take a picture of a check and have it deposited directly into their account.
- Picture Pay, where customer take a picture of a bill and can automatically pay it from their phone.
- Pin login, which allows customers to avoid entering their username and password, once they select a 4-digit personal identification number for account access.
