Farmers Bank to Open Alliance Branch in 2015
ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Work is underway on Farmers National Bank’s newest branch office here, which is expected to open in late spring 2015. The new office is under construction at 210 West State St., directly across from the University of Mount Union.
The Alliance branch, which will offer a comprehensive slate of financial services, will occupy space in the new Gateway Shopping Center. and expand Farmers’ presence in Stark County, the company says. The 2,000-square-foot building will feature nontraditional teller pods and a two-lane drive-thru area.
“We are very pleased to bring Farmers’ brand of personalized banking services to Alliance,” said Kevin Helmick, Farmers’ CEO. “We have something to offer everyone, from the Mount Union student to the homeowner to the business owner.”
Farmers National Banc Corp., headquartered in Canfield, has more than $1 billion in banking assets and $1 billion in trust assets. It operates 17 banking locations in Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana, Stark and Cuyahoga counties.
