Farmers Bank Establishes Office in Rocky River
CANFIELD, Ohio -- Farmers National Bank is expanding to Rocky River in suburban Cleveland with the hiring of two key associates, the company announced Wednesday.
Ted Grabowski is Farmers’ new vice president/private client relationship manager and David E. Simko has been hired as the bank’s vice president/commercial banking. Grabowski and Simko will work from the offices of National Associates Inc., 20325 Center Ridge Road in Rocky Rive. Farmers National Bank acquired NAI, a retirement planning consultancy, in June 2013.
While the NAI acquisition served to expand Farmers’ slate of financial services -- which include trust services, investments and insurance -- the hiring of Grabowski and Simko is a strategic move to grow Farmers’ core business banking services in a new territory, the company says. They constitute the beginning of a new branch office focused on the business owner and business banking, according to the announcement.
“We are excited to bring Farmers’ unique brand of business banking into the greater Cleveland market,” said Joseph Gerzina, Farmers’ community president for Stark and Cuyahoga counties. “We have all the financial tools and terms that really help companies of all sizes succeed. And, with Ted and David joining our team, we can offer the greater Cleveland area the expertise and personalized service of these respected banking professionals.”
Grabowski is a 22-year veteran of the banking business who resides in North Olmsted. Simko has been in banking 30 years and lives in Medina.
