Amber Wallace, Tim Shaffer Promoted at Farmers Bank
CANFIELD, Ohio -- Farmers National Bank has promoted Amber Wallace to senior vice president and chief retail/marketing officer and Tim Shaffer to vice president, commercial banking/private client services, Mahoning Valley, the president and CEO, Kevin J. Helmick announces.
Wallace was also elected to the bank board of directors.
Before their most recent promotions, Wallace had served as senior vice president for marketing, Shaffer as vice president, commercial banking manager.
Wallace began her career at Farmers Bank in 2008 as vice president of marketing and a member of the senior management before being promoted to senior vice president. As Farmers’ chief marketing executive, Wallace is involved in developing its marketing strategies and new products.
Her additional duties allow her to expand on these aspects while supervising the bank network of 18 full-service offices in Trumbull, Mahoning and Columbiana counties. Wallace continues to oversee the holding company’s investor relations and marketing efforts.
Shaffer, who joined Farmers in 2011, is a banking veteran with 28 years’ experience. With this promotion, he becomes a member of the senior leadership team of the bank “where his expertise and thoughtful analysis in the sales and risk areas will be utilized,” Helmick said. In his new position, Shaffer will be responsible for commercial lending, small-business lending, treasury management and private client services in the Mahoning Valley.
