WaterFire Creator to Address Shenango Chamber
SHARON, Pa. -- The creator of WaterFire Providence, Barnaby Evans, will be the keynote speaker at the Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce’s annual dinner Nov. 12.
The dinner begins at 5 p.m. at the Avalon Golf & Country Club in Buhl Park.
Evans is an artist who works in many media including site-specific sculpture installations, photography, film, garden design and architectural projects. He created the first WaterFire in Providence in 1994 and has created WaterFire installations in Columbus, Ohio, Kansas City, Mo., and now here.
Also to be honored that evening as Chamber Person of the Year is George Kraynak, president of Kraynak’s Inc. Kraynak’s began as a greenhouse and garden center. Kraynak and his brother John have seen their company grow into a year-round attraction that draw thousands of visitors each year to Santa Land and Easter Bunny Lane.
