Warren Toastmasters Club to Hold Open House
WARREN, Ohio -- The Warren Toastmasters Club is hosting its first open house May 10 to invite the public to see how Toastmasters can help anyone develop better speaking, listening and leadership skills.
Experienced Toastmasters members will be in attendance to answer questions.
The club will hold the open house at The Raymond John Wean Foundation Building here from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., according to Ken Shellito, president.
After a brief meet-and-greet period, members and guests will enjoy a regular Toastmasters meeting that will include Table Topics (impromptu speeches), prepared speeches and evaluations.
The open house is free and refreshments will be provided.
Toastmasters International, headquartered in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., is a nonprofit organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of meeting locations.
