Shenango Valley Chamber Prepares Leaders
SHARON, Pa. -- The Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce has begun its 2013 Leadership Shenango program, Deanna Koch, marketing and membership director announces.
Leadership Shenango, founded in 1996, was designed to encourage and strengthen the leaders of tomorrow in the valley by having them tap into the experience and knowledge of today’s leaders in business, government, cultural and educational, Koch says.
Participants will attend seminars community leaders host. Theme is "Preparing for Tomorrow Today," whose premise is that a better understanding of today’s institutions should allow better planning.
An awards reception for the 2013 graduates will be held in conjunction with the 2013 Phoenix Awards in May. “This day will bring the 2013 Leadership Shenango graduates directly into the Leadership Shenango Alumni Association as well as SVP … Engaging Today's Leaders, to perpetuate their connection to this program and the community,”Koch says.
The deadline to enroll is Jan. 31. Additional information can be obtained by calling Koch at the chamber office 724 981 5880 or going online.
