Seminar on Fundraising Planning at KSU-Trumbull Wednesday
WARREN, Ohio -- An “Overview of Fundraising Planning” seminar will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Technology Building at the Trumbull Campus of Kent State University. The two-hour session is sponsored by The Raymond John Wean Foundation.
This session provides a strategic overview of the components needed to ensure that organizations reach their fundraising potential from start to finish, officials said. Participants will learn how to conduct an asset inventory, identify a diverse funding stream, chart a fundraising calendar, among other topics.
The seminar will take place in Room 117 of the Technology Building. Presenter is David M. Holmes, acting director of the Foundation Center-Cleveland. He has been responsible for creating, managing and delivering training programs in support of capacity building of nonprofits in Cleveland and in the midwestern United States since 2005.
Registration is $10 per person, which includes light refreshments, and is limited to 80. To register, go to this website.
