SBA to Hold Forum on Regulatory Fairness Here June 13
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- The U.S. Small Business Administration will host a forum on regulatory fairness at the ITT Technical Institute from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. June 13. The forum is one of a series intended to promote conversations on federal regulations that small-business owners face.
The forums also highlight the range of resources available to small-business owners through the SBA and the Office of the National Ombudsman. The presenter, national ombudsman Brian Castro, will host a conversation with members of the small-business community to hear their comments and concerns about federal regulations that affect small business.
The ombudsman directs issues the participants raise to the appropriate federal agency for a high-level fairness review and works across government to address those concerns, reduce regulatory burdens and help small businesses grow. Small-business owners who would rather report a federal regulatory concern in confidence will have the opportunity to do so at the forum.
Reservations are encouraged but not required. Call Jennifer Muscardine at 330 744 2131, ext. 12, by June 4.
