Planned Giving Council Invites Nonprofits to Event
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio -- The Mahoning/Shenango Valley Planned Giving Council will host a luncheon for area nonprofits Feb. 15 at the Youngstown Country Club. Guest speaker is attorney James B. Dietz.
Dietz’s presentation, “Documenting Your Charitable Intent: Carrying Out Your Plan” will include making sure that the right tools and documents are being used to carry out the client/donor intent. A Q&A session will follow.
Dietz is managing partner of Friedman & Rummell Co. L.P.A. and practices from the firm's Youngstown and Canfield offices. He is certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law.
Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. Cost is $15 for council members and $25 for nonmenbers. Reservations are due Feb. 8. Checks payable to the Mahoning/Shenango PGC can be sent to Pat Palombo, Catholic Diocese of Youngstown, 144 W. Wood St., Youngstown, OH 44503.
The Mahoning/Shenango Planned Giving Council is a member of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning, a nonprofit public charity whose mission is to help people and organizations create charitable giving experiences that are the most meaningful in achieving both charitable mission and the philanthropic, financial, family and personal goals of the donor.
