Pianist Jim Brickman Comes to Westminster College Feb. 8
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- Pop pianist Jim Brickman will present a concert Feb 8 as part of the Westminster College Celebrity Series in Orr Auditorium, the college announced Thursday. The concert with a theme of Valentine’s Day is part of the pianist's "The Love Tour."
Brickman, a native of Shaker Heights, Ohio, has sold more than seven million albums, received two Grammy Award nominations and won other awards and accolades. Four of his albums – “By Heart,” “Picture This,” “The Gift” and “Destiny” -- have been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. He has also amassed 27 Top-40 singles on the adult contemporary charts.
Brickman’s says his music music is known for soothing the aches of daily life. “This is more than just ‘I love that hit song,’ ” he said. “It’s the experience. I want the music to be a constant part of their lives.”
